Half the fun was sneaking in and hiding in the trunk.

I used to ride my bike down the not-yet-opened Keeler Street Expressway and watch movies from there. I rode over from Culver Road. It was great on summer nights.

Later, I saw Let It Be there and recorded the audio to a reel-to-reel recorder by tapping the speaker. I had no idea that was the last year for this drive-in.
