two years ago a friend and i visited the drive in sight and found a few remnants of this once popular drive in some ramps were seen under the shrub growth and the exit lane was still there.i attended this theater as a kid

I remember the Star drive inn very well. As kids we would jump the fence and the east end of the school property (where the Blasdell elementary school now stands. The police woud come by once in awhile but never kicked us out. That was a long time ago and I know that becase shortly I'll be 79 years old. Those werethe good ole days.
